Tahquitz Lives

Tahquitz looks out on the Valley shrouded in clouds. Look carefully you can see his eye on the peak. This is Tahquitz Rock, under which the Cahuilla Mountain spirit lives in his magic cave with transparent walls, he is a shape shifter and can take many forms. Including even a meteor which streaks across the night sky. He is a devourer of the souls of men and feared except by the most powerful shaman's . He is resonsible for the great earthquakes as he smashes his victims with giant rocks in his underground dwelling, and for the rumblings in the summer skies.
